Training

We want our community to be prepared in the case of an emergency or a disaster. This is why we offer free training and support in both English and Spanish.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Led by Fire Battalion Chief and CERT Program Manager David Cosgrave, this is the FEMA 20-24 hour classroom + hands-on basic emergency preparedness and response skills training class offered with special local emphasis on potential Coastside emergencies.

See our CERT training page.

Family-oriented and taught in Spanish, the program is delivered in a format that is both culturally and linguistically appropriate for the target population.
